Amber is unlike other precious and semi-precious stones as it isn't actually a stone at all, but fossilised tree sap. Most of the world's amber is between 30-90 million years old! It is ideal for jewellery making as the inclusions (foreign bodies such as insects or other natural materials) make each piece unique.
This page may contain both genuine amber and simulated stones - please see the individual item descriptions.
