Hi, my name is Sam Whittington and I run  S. E. Whittington Ltd., the company behind this, the 'SEWSilver' and 'WhittingtonsJewelleryBox' website, and also the Home Parties.

After graduating from university in 1999 I worked in several large organisations in both Sales and Customer Service roles. My final position before I immersed myself in the jewellery business was Credit Controller for a telecommunications company, which required a considerable amount of diplomacy and customer handling. I have always been a 'customer champion' and my customer service background is now invaluable for how I run S. E. Whittington Ltd.

So how did it all come about?...In December 2005 I came across the unexpected opportunity to take on a silver jewellery party planning franchise and in January 2006 I started selling jewellery through home parties. At this point I was still working full-time, and although I loved my job I had for some time been considering a change; with a family and home to take care of it wasn't easy working full-time. In March 2006 I gave up my job and focused on selling jewellery. One year later I decided to really take the plunge and register my own company - 'S. E. Whittington Ltd'.

Since striking-out on my own I have continued to sell direct through party planning and craft fairs, but it has always been my intention to reach my customers, both old and new, through a website - and here it is! 

I endeavour to give the best possible service by fairly representing the items up for sale; displaying genuine, high-quality photographs of the items; being competitively priced; and despatching items without delay after receiving payment. I believe that if you spend your hard-earned cash over the internet then you should get exactly what you paid for, and have it in your possession as soon as possible.
